1 knot method
It is a traditional method of making fishing nets. The fishing net is made of warp threads and weft threads in the shuttle. The knot size is 4 times the diameter of the net rope and protrudes from the plane of the net. This kind of net is called netting, and the nodules collide with the fish and the ship’s side when the net is raised, which not only hurts the fish but also wears the nets, and because the chemical fiber is smooth and elastic, it is easy to cause problems such as loose nodules and uneven mesh.
2 Hanging method
The two sets of yarns are twisted by the machine at the same time, and at the junction point, they pierce each other to form a net. This net is called twistless net. Because the yarns at the knots of the net are not bent, the net is flat and the friction is reduced, but the twisting machine is inefficient, the preparation process is complicated, and the number of horizontal meshes is limited, which is only suitable for weaving nets with larger meshes.
3 warp knitting method
Usually, the warp yarn is connected into a net by a Raschel warp knitting machine equipped with 4 to 8 bars, which is called warp knitting without knotting. Due to the high speed of the warp knitting machine (600 rpm), the width of the knitted mesh is wide, the number of horizontal meshes can reach more than 800 meshes, the specification is convenient to change, and the production efficiency is several times higher than the previous two methods. The warp knitted net is flat, wear-resistant, light in weight, stable in structure, high in knot strength, and will not deform or loosen after the net is damaged. It can be widely used in sea fishing, freshwater fishing and aquaculture and various other special purposes. .
