Setting up bird nets is an important measure to prevent bird damage in vineyards

The bird-proof net is not only suitable for large-area vineyards, but also for small-area vineyards or courtyard grapes. Support the mesh frame, lay a special bird-proof net made of nylon wire on the mesh frame, hang down the ground around the mesh frame and compact it with soil to prevent birds from flying in from the side.
The bird-proof net can be made of nylon wire or fine iron wire, but pay attention to the appropriate size of the mesh to effectively prevent birds from flying in. Since most birds cannot distinguish dark colors, white nylon nets should be used as much as possible, and black or green nylon nets should not be used. In areas with frequent hail, it is a good measure to adjust the size of the grid and use the anti-hail net to prevent birds. Barbed wire and nylon nets with appropriate specifications are set in advance on the entrances and exits of greenhouses, greenhouses and raisin drying rooms, as well as on vents and ventilation holes to prevent birds from entering.

Anti-bird mesh mesh specifications:
The mesh size of the bird-proof net should be able to effectively prevent birds from entering the vineyard and causing damage. Whether a bird can get through the bird net depends on the thickness of its body. 2 cm x (2-3) cm x 3 cm mesh size is reasonable. If the mesh is too small, it will increase the cost of the bird-proof net and affect the light; if the mesh is too large, some smaller birds will burrow into the net and continue to harm, and the bird-proof effect will not be achieved.

Anti-bird net material:
Reduce investment as much as possible, reduce production costs, and have a longer service life.
Polyethylene mesh is currently the most economical and applicable material and can be used for more than 5 years.
